365- When you travel with many, you make sacrifices.

Moscow.
To get to Krasondar, you have to fly to Moscow, normally, through Moscow. But to fly through Moscow with a seven person family 14 bags and a large Labrador, would cost a number with so many zeros your stickler of an ancestor would turn over in his grave. So we weren’t going to fly through Moscow, we were going to drive the 18 hours. But before you can drive 18 hours into another region you need valid passports, which my sister (Cady,13) and I didn’t have. We didn’t have them because (this will get a little confusing) our temporary residency (it took us 3 years to get this, so we couldn't lose it now) is on our old passports which were going to expire soon, so we went to get new ones at the Dallas Passport Office but the Americans insisted on poking a hole in the passports (to show that they were the old ones) and Russians (they were still good, the passports) would not accept a passport with a hole in it. So we couldn’t get new passports in the States and had to do it in Moscow. So the Motrenkos were stuck with us for a good 4 days. Pictures of running around Moscow trying to get passports will be up soon. But meanwhile, enjoy these pictures of children playing in the ever abundant Moscow snow.  Oh and some neat pictures of what a Russian neighborhood looks like.

Nestle cocopuffs, 100% more chocolaty than the crazy bird brand in America.

Darling little Emma, Alex and Ruma's daughter.

The Winnie the Pooh movie, the drawings are great and the film is hilarious.
Aubrie planking, as in a real plank I think....

Typical Russian houses.

Ivan was SOOOO happy to be out of his cage, 17 hours straight in that thing would drive ANYONE crazy.

Does anyone know what this strange thing is? I sure don't
